With its 'Proudly South African' theme Bell Equipment showcased the best in local manufacturer at the 2013 Royal Show, held earlier this month in Pietermarizburg, displaying its latest E-series Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) and the popular K-series Tractor Loader Backhoe.

The company's efforts were rewarded with steady foot traffic and strong interest from visitors. In addition Bell Equipment continued its winning streak at the Royal Show to once again claim the award for the 'Best Construction and Materials Handling Exhibition' as well as a gold medal award for the quality of its stand.

Bell General Manager of the Coastal Region, Francios van Tonder said: "The Royal Show is the biggest show in KwaZulu-Natal so Bell uses this opportunity to showcase our product. This year we were particularly proud to exhibit our E-series Truck, which proved to be a huge attraction and sparked a lot of interest from visitors. Our factory is based in KwaZulu-Natal so the show is an ideal platform to show locals the level of quality and technological innovation that has been achieved on their doorstep - and the E-series speaks volumes in this regard."

Other equipment on display included a Bell 225 Logger, a Bomag BW65H and BW75H along with a Bell Africa Tractor. Bell Equipment's range of promotional clothing and gear was also available and proved to be popular.

"Each year we put a great deal of time, thought and effort into our stand to make sure we bring something new and exciting for visitors. It is a bonus and very rewarding when our efforts are recognised through the awards we receive. I make special mention of the Bell Pietermartizburg Customer Service Centre who commit themselves to this show and confirm Bell Equipment's commitment towards our customers," said Van Tonder.
