Bell Equipment, which has created a strong base in Moscow since establishing Bell Russland at the beginning of 2011, confirmed its commitment to the Russian region in June when it participated directly for the first time at two important exhibitions in Moscow and Novokuznetsk.

CTT 2013 in Moscow focused on construction machinery and technologies and was attended by all industry leaders. Here Bell Russland showcased the new E-series truck at its indoor stand, while a Bell ADT cab was placed outside near the B40D on display at the stand of Technograde, a Bell dealer in the region (also HUYNDAI H.I. dealer).

According to Bell Russland General Manager, Hermann Kowalenko, CTT is "a big convention of great specialists from Russian territories in construction and mining industries. You can find anything there from tiny gears to really big machines! This is an ideal place to promote the whole Bell brand, not only ADTs".

By comparison the Novokuznetsk’s show, Coal and Mining, catered for specialised mining machinery and targets mining machinery due to the prevalence of coal mines in the region. The Novokuznetsk area is an important part of the company's history in the country as it was here that Bell Equipment first started its business in Russia.

Apart from the Bell Russland stand at Coal and Mining, KAMMS, one of the Bell dealers in Russia, had a B50D ADT on display at their outside pavilion, which generated a large amount of interest.

Hermann added that the attendance of Bell Russland at the two shows was geared to developing the company's presence in the mining and construction industries across the entire ex-Soviet Union. "We have reached 15% of ADTs market share in our territories and we are penetrating the important oil and gas sector."

A highlight of the shows was a visit by one of the top companies in the oil and gas sector, Surgutneftegas, which will be taking delivery of 30 Bell ADTs and trailers.

Commented Hermann: "We expected an overwhelming response from visitors when they saw our truck and we were not disappointed! Some people came to the Bell Russland stand in Moscow especially to look at the new B30E and overall the truck created an good first impression.

"It was also pleasing to note at the Moscow show that there were a lot of young people interested in our ADTs, which we think is a positive sign for the future promotion of Bell in future," he said.
